This small etching is of a ocean born fragment collected in Cape Agulhas. I usually print smaller objects on a larger scale, but with this piece I wanted to do the opposite — to draw the viewer in. There’s something intimate about its size, inviting a slower, closer way of looking. This image was originally taken on 120mm film, then developed, printed and recreated onto Photopolymer Etching. A natural process, taken through another process, taken through then another process.
